Obituary for Mary L. “Sis” Keesler Mary L. “Sis” Keesler, 84, of Lopatcong Township, NJ passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the Lopatcong Center of Lopatcong Township. Mary was born in Phillipsburg, NJ on October 23, 1933 to the late Vincent and Helen Clymer Keesler. Mary was an Electronics Assembler with SI Handling in Forks Township, PA for 28 years, retiring in 1996.

She loved to dance and loved music, especially oldies and country. Mary enjoyed reading and writing. She was an avid sports fan, collected baseball cards and enjoyed Phillies baseball.

Mary attended St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Phillipsburg, NJ. Mary is survived by her dear friend of 60 years, Helen Nickel; nephews, Nathaniel R. Keesler, Jr., Ronald G. Keesler, Theodore Keesler, Gary Keesler, and Thomas Hodge; nieces, Janet Borger, Phyllis Clause, Helen Ann Davis and Lisa Gudzinas; as well as great and great great nephews and nieces. Mary is predeceased by her brother, Nathaniel R. Keesler, Sr. and a sister, Anna Hodge.

A Funeral Service for Mary will be private at the convenience of the family. Mary’s services have been entrusted with the Rupell Funeral Home, LLC; 465 Memorial Pkwy; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials in Mary’s name may be given to Common Sense for Animals; 2420 NJ Route 57; Broadway, NJ 08808.
