Obituary for Lillian B. Troxell Lillian B. Troxell, 97, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Brakeley Park Center in Lopatcong Township, NJ. Lillian was born in Phillipsburg, NJ on January 30, 1921 to the late William C. and Lille Ruth Brown. Lillian was a homemaker who cared for her family.

She was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School. Lillian was an active bowler participating in a Tuesday night league at Warren Lanes in Phillipsburg, and bowling with friends regularly on Friday night. Her other passion was P’burg sports, attending football and baseball games.

Lillian was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Easton, PA. Lillian is survived by her sons, William H. Troxell and his wife, Pattie of Florida and Kenneth G. Troxell and his wife, Danette of Virginia; grandchildren, Kimberley Hollingsworth and Michael Troxell; great-grandchildren, Reid, Flynn, and Tate Hollingsworth; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, George H. Troxell; a brother, William Brown; and a sister, Martha Allshouse.

A Graveside Service for Lillian will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 12:30pm at Greenwich Cemetery; 17 Greenwich Church Road; Stewartsville, NJ 08886. A Visitation of Family and Friends will be held on Friday, May 18 from 10am until 12 noon at the Rupell Funeral Home, LLC; 465 Memorial Parkway; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials in Lillian’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America; 322 Eighth Ave; 7th.
