Charles Leroy Arnold August 22, 1950 – May 16, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Charles Leroy Arnold, 68, of Hominy, Oklahoma, passed away May 16th surrounded by family. Charlie is survived by his two sons Charles A. and Steven and Maryann Arnold, his mother Patsy Arnold, brother David and Jeanie Arnold, and sisters Linda Heacock and Nancy Harmon, two grandchildren and extended family. He is preceded in death by his father Charles H. Arnold and brother Timothy.

Charles was born August 22, 1950, in McAlester, Oklahoma. He graduated from Haileyville High School in 1968, joined the United States Navy shortly afterward, serving in Vietnam. Charles worked for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections from 1975 to 2005, afterwards serving as Chief of Police for the City of Hominy for 11 years.

He was a 32nd Degree Mason and was a member of the Hartshorne/Haileyville Masonic Lodge #122. Charles was a loving father and grandfather, devoted friend and dedicated public servant. Visitation will be Monday, May 20th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester.

Services will be Tuesday, May 21st, at 2:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Bache-Red Oak Cemetery.
