Obituary for Chester E. Harding Chester E. Harding, 87, of Beloit, WI, died Sunday, April 8, 2018 in his home. He was born August 11, 1930 in Neillsville, WI, the son of Chester A. and Nona (Yaeger) Harding. Chester was a 1950 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School.

He married Laura M. Peck on December 21, 1949. She predeceased him on September 2, 2015. Chester started his working career at the age of 19 working for Fairbanks Morse and continued to be employed there until his retirement in 1993.

He enjoyed bowling, fishing, occasional trips to the casino and after the children were older traveling to Las Vegas with his wife, Laura. Chester was a member of the United Steel Workers AFLCIO Local #1533. Survivors include his five children, Dan (MaryAnn) Harding, Debbie (Branko) Manojlovic, Patty Freeman, Betty (Tom) Reynolds, and Robert Harding; eight grandchildren, Matt, Brad, Christina, Melissa, Jessica, Mark, Cynthia and Jenny; 11 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, daughter Nancy Harding, one brother Arthur and three sisters Florence Simplot, Opal Russell and Ruby Berryman. A memorial visitation of remembrance for Chester will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2018 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI.
