Clarence’s Obituary Clarence William “Billy” Headen, 71, of Harrodsburg formerly of Lawrenceburg, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019 at VA Medical Center in Lexington. Born August 2, 1947 in Anderson County, KY, Billy was the son of the late Clarence and Louise Gabhart Headen.

Along with his parents, Billy was preceded in death by a sister Rachael Peak. Billy served his country as a Lance Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and retired as a 32 year employee with Rand McNally in Versailles. He enjoyed participating in the Harrodsburg Golf League, the Model Airplane Club, and woodworking.

Billy is survived by his wife of 32 years, Belinda C. Headen; two daughters, Stacy Headen (Rusty) Waldridge of Lawrenceburg and Stacey “Re” Rice (Adam) Wells of Salvisa; six grandchildren, Levi and Laci Waldridge, Taylor Rice, Garrett Gillespie, Aubrey and Regan Wells; a great grandchild, Jude Rivas; and a sister Brenda (Carroll) Sutherland; and a brother-in-law, Raymond Peak. Services will be held Friday, Feb. 22nd beginning at 2:00 PM at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery pavilion.

Serving as pallbearers will be Levi Waldridge, Garrett Gillespie, Jackie Sweasy, Larry Peak, Rusty Waldridge, and Adam Wells. Memorials are suggest to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, 1615 L Street, Suite 430, Washington, DC 20036.
