Clide Meetze Taylor, 90, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018. Born July 8, 1927, in Chapin, she was the daughter of the late Heber Ernest and Mary Edna Bickley Meetze. She was predeceased by her husband John Perry Taylor.

Mrs. Taylor was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church, Telephone Pioneers and American Legion Aux. Post 90. Survivors include her sons, Johnny David Taylor (Teresa), Calvin Michael Taylor (Nancy); daughters Mary Bradley (Thomas), and Marie Clayborne (William); brother, Lemuel Ernest Meetze; sisters, Sara Goff, Mary Ruth Padgett and Flossie Senn, grandchildren, Stacy W. Mack (Adam), Trey Watts (Lissa), Brandon Rhoney, Travis Rhoney (Deana), Patton Taylor (Jamie), C J Taylor (Evelyn), Amanda Troutman (Tyler), Rusty Butler, Tracie Bolton and great grandchildren, Haley Taylor, Natalie Taylor, Ali Taylor, Colin Rhoney, Ryan Rhoney, Gabriel Taylor, Tristan Taylor Braylen Troutman, Layton Butler, Lena Jo Butler, Colby Bolton, Caylee Bolton.

. Pallbearers will be Trey Watts, Patton Taylor, Brandon Rhoney, Travis Rhoney, Tyler Troutman, C J Taylor and Adam Mack. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday, May 7, 2018, at Nazareth Lutheran Church, 1800 Nazareth Road, Lexington SC, 29073.

Burial will follow at Celestial Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am. Memorials may be made to the church.

Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.
