Clive E. Brown, 63, of Drums, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Residential Hospice-Inpatient Unit, Wilkes Barre, following a yearlong illness. Born in Philadelphia, PA, February 9, 1955, he was the son of the late Walter and Geraldine (Payton) Brown and spent the past 12 years in Drums, after moving from Mountaintop, PA where he resided since 1993. Clive was a Senior Operations Director for Consolidated Container Company.

He attended Faith United Church of Christ, Hazle Township. He enjoyed playing golf, riding bikes, watching Eagles football, listening to jazz music and spending time with his dog, Molly. He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by late wife Deborah LaVerne (Pinkston), and his sister Celeste Taylor.

Surviving are his wife Lisa, to whom he was married for the past 12 years; two sons Aaron, Moorestown, NJ; and Jason, Drums; a daughter Christine Ackerman and her husband Jesse Ackerman, Atlanta, GA; three sisters Selene Brown, Williamstown, NJ; Annette Brown-Battle and her husband Val, Philadelphia; and Evette Conwell and her husband Derwin, Bowie, MD; and several nieces and nephews. Clive was also a doting great uncle to many great nephews, including Damon Horton, who was like a son to him. Clive leaves behind countless beloved family members, colleagues, and lifetime friends, including Richard and Susan Fischbein.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, January 23rd at 7:00pm at Faith United Church of Christ, 21 Faith Drive, Hazle Township. Friends may call at the Church January 23rd from 6:00pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Four Diamonds at fourdiamonds.
