Colleen Marie Lorenz, 74, of Beloit, WI, died Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in her home. She was born on October 7, 1944 in Galena, IL, the daughter of Carl Leroy and Velma Margarete (Harty) Lorenz. Colleen was a 1961 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School.

Colleen was employed by Admiral, Freeman Shoe Co, and retired from Eco Lab. She loved to travel and made sure to see several different places including Ireland with her mother. Colleen shared her love of travel with many.

She was a strong-willed individual with a fantastic sense of humor and an appreciation for a good debate. Survivors include her brothers, Carl M. Lorenz, Leonard J. (Kathy) Lorenz; sisters, Joan (Duane) Campbell, Jean (Dennis) Birdsill, Janice (Paul) Salzman; many nieces and nephews. Those that left before Colleen were her parents; brothers, William C, James K, and Richard P; and sister-in-law, Vivian Streeter Lorenz.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 in East Lawn Cemetery, 2200 Milwaukee Rd. , Beloit, WI. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd.

, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
