Concepcion’s Obituary Concepcion J. Dunbar, 61, of South Portland passed away on January 12, 2019 in Portland. Concepcion was born on December 8, 1957 in Tubod, Lanao del Norte, Philippines, to Donato and Aurea Jumamil. She came to the United States in 1992 and was employed as a machinist at Nichols Portland LLC.

Concepcion was predeceased by her parents, Donato and Aurea Jumamil, her brothers, Benjamin Jumamil, and Jesus Jumamil, and her sister Purita Gahi. She is survived by three sisters and their husbands, three brothers and their wives, and countless nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Concepcion enjoyed traveling, adventuring, and gardening.

She was a hardworking, supportive and generous person. Visitation is from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, January 18, 2019 at Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Road, South Portland. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 124 Cottage Road, South Portland followed by a reception at the Elizabeth Hobbs Hospitality Center (next door to the funeral home), In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
