CONNIE SUE BARTRUFF, age 69, of Washington CH, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 1:53 a.m. at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital. She was born on July 21, 1949 in Fayette County to Ora and Cora Mae Radabaugh Fitzpatrick. She was a graduate of Washington High School.

Connie retired from Fayette County Job and Family Services in 2014. She attended the Center United Methodist Church near Octa. Connie was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

She enjoyed crocheting, reading the Bible, cooking, and spending time in Florida with her daughter and grandchildren. Connie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnny Raymond Bartruff; brothers, Randy Fitzpatrick, and Danny Fitzpatrick; special aunt, Dorothy Johnson; and special friend, Carol Yeazel. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kelli and Ernest Fulcher; grandchildren, Cody Fulcher, and Alyssa Fulcher; brother, Jerry Fitzpatrick; sisters-in-law, Nancy Fitzpatrick, Debbie Fitzpatrick, Sandy Bartruff, Doris Zurface, and Joanne Spence; and her faithful canine companion, Toby.

Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
