Obituary of Connie Blair Connie J. Blair, 53, Marion, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019. Born in Marion on December 30, 1965, she was the daughter of Lawrence Laypoole and Gretta (Knipp) Davenport. Connie married her loving husband, William “Willie” A. Blair, on July 4, 1987, and he survives.

Connie was a homemaker and served her husband and daughter faithfully. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed swimming, going to movies, and attending BORN Church. She enjoyed arts and crafts, as well as helping children in church.

She will be missed by her husband of 31 years, Willie; daughter, Caitlyn Blair, Marion; brothers, Anthony Laypoole and Kevin Laypoole, both from Marion; aunts, Jean Knipp, Marion, and Erica Knipp, Tampa, FL; nephew, Andy Laypoole, Alexandria; niece, Ashley Kabrich, Marion; and many cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeremey Laypoole; brother, Raymond Laypoole; and sisters, Diane Laypoole and Shelly Laypoole. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave.

, Marion, IN. Connie’s funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019, at the funeral home with Pastor Chuck Vernon officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to BORN Church, 320 N. Adams St., Marion, IN 46952.
