Conrad Jackson Ansbach, Jr. age 75 of Whiteville went to be with his Lord surrounded by his daughter’s on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Angel House in Whiteville. Final rites will be held 11:00 am Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Worthington Funeral Home with Dr. Tommy Bryson officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m on Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. He attended Mt. Olive Original Free Will Baptist Church in Hallsboro and Pleasant Meadow Free Will Baptist Church in Nakina.

He was a lifetime auto mechanic employed by Marks Truck and Tractor, Quality Ford, Wells Oldsmobile and Collins Automotive for a total of 60 years. He was the son of the late Edith Hardie and Conrad J. Ansbach, Sr and was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Russell Ansbach. He is survived by three daughters, Abbie Irene Ansbach of the home, Kimberly A. Batten (Ricky) of Whiteville and Kathryn Faye Ansbach (Eddie Soles)) of Whiteville; a brother, Jimmy Dale Ansbach of Clarendon; his former wife, Marilyn Rose Sarvis Ansbach of Nakina; four grandchildren, Joshua Hinson, Ethan Batten, Nickolas Batten and Chloe Batten; a great-grandchild Avery Hinson; three step-grandchildren.

Fonda Soles Jackson, Austin Soles and Randall Soles; and five step-great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Lifecare Center, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.
