OBITUARY Mrs. Cynthia Bratten April 6, 1957 – January 5, 2019 Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Bratten, 61, of Parsonsburg passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Salisbury she was the daughter of Betty Strush and the late Harvey Schuyler. Cindy grew up on the family farm and put herself threw nursing school later working as a nursing assistant.

She worked many years at Salisbury Nursing Home and later at John B. Parsons Home as a CNA, GNA, and Med-Tech. Cindy loved the Lord and attend Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Salisbury. Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Lewis Edward Bratten; her son, Gary Bratten, (Ann) who was by her side at the time of her passing; step son Kevin Bratten (Charlotte); Step daughter, Brenda Joseph (Ernest); grandchildren, Connor Bratten, Deborah Starns, Jonathan Bonneville, Korey Bratten, Marissa Bratten, Joseph Pusey, Madison Bratten and Chelsie Giannini; great-grandchildren, Jacob Bonneville, Brandon Mitchell, and James Starns; sisters, Paula Evans, Sandra Aurelio, and Penny Quillen; brothers, Sam and Robert Schuyler; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Samuel and Robert Schuyler. A private family service will be held at a later date.
