Obituary for Cynthia Weiss Cynthia Weiss , of Mount Morris MI. passed away, April 14, 2018 peacefully at her home. Born August 4th 1945 she was the daughter of the late Walter and Bernice Dolney.

Cindy was a graduate of Pinconning High School – and went on to study nursing at St. Mary’s Nursing School in Saginaw. Cindy met her husband Ron when she was 16 while on an outing with her mother and some of her sisters. Ron asked her to slow dance and by the time they made it to the dance floor the music changed to “The Twist”.

They soon fell in love and this was the beginning of their journey together. They married in 1965 and spent 33 loving years together until Ron’s passing in 1998. Cindy’s passions included spending time with family, friends and her grandchildren.

She loved being a homemaker and caring for her family, She had a thirst for learning new things, and especially had a talent for the culinary arts, always impressing family and friends with gourmet style meals. She also had a natural gift for gardening. Cindy became a Master Gardener and enjoyed sharing her knowledge by helping friends and family with designing beautiful creations.

She loved to grow fresh vegetables and fruit to add to her amazing recipes. Cindy also completed the rigorous Lay Ministry Program through the Saginaw Catholic Diocese. She also loved to travel, take long car drives and see new places.

She had a very adventurous spirit and a willingness to try new things. She is survived by her loving children, Jeff (Lori) Weiss of Saint Clair Shores MI, Melissa ( Brett) Pynonnen of Ann Arbor, Amy (John) Hill of Grand Rapids, and Kurt ( Nicole) Weiss of Flint,, and her furry rescue pet Founder. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Nathan, Alex, Riley , Kendall, Caleb, Ileanna , her brothers John, Dennis, and sisters Charmaine, Joan, Felicia, and the late Elaine.
