Daniel Lee Rexing, 59, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. Daniel was born in Evansville, Indiana on June 22, 1959. He graduated from Central High School in 1977 and worked at Faultless Casters for 25 years.

He went on to work at Toyota in Body Weld for 15 years. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and hunting. Daniel had a servants heart and enjoyed fixing things for others whenever needed.

Daniel is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kelley (Rasure) Rexing; his daughters, Amy Deutsch (Nicholas) and Laura Newmaster (Jacob); his sons, Brian Rexing (Cory) all of Evansville, IN, and Keith Rexing (Caitlin) of Indianapolis, IN; his father, Charles Anthony Rexing (Margaret) of Evansville, IN; sister, Mary Gayle Carey (Owen) of Ohio; grandchildren, Kylie, Bryce, Levi; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Judi and Duke Rasure; and by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Daniel was preceded in death by his mother, Marlene (Toon) Rexing; and by his grandparents, Mary and William Toon, Florence and Joe Rexing, and Mary and James Barnett.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 17, 2018 at St. James Catholic Church, 12300 S. 50 W., Haubstadt, IN 47639 with Father Kenneth Betz celebrating. Burial will follow at St. James Catholic Church Cemetery. Friends may visit from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave.

, Evansville, IN 47711. Friends may also visit from 9:00 AM until Mass time on Monday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Chemo Buddies, 6521 Greencove, Evansville, IN 47715.
