Dennis’ Obituary Dennis C. Woelkers, age 67, of Quakertown, went home to be with his Savior on Monday, February 4th. He was the husband of Diane (Gotwals) Woelkers for 31 years. Born in Lansdale, he was the son of Harry W. Woelkers, of Harleysville, and the late Arlene (Clemens) Woelkers.

Dennis was a graduate of North Penn High School, Class of 1969. After graduation he entered the Navy and served on active duty from 1970 -1972 and then as a reserve until 1975. Upon Honorable Discharge, Dennis continued his employment with Hatfield Quality Meats for more than 30 years.

He then began working with his brother, Dwight, sharing ownership of Clemens Excavating & Septic Service, of Franconia Township for 10 years. He was an active member of Bethel Baptist Church in Sellersville where he served as a deacon and usher. He volunteered behind the scenes for many church projects including missions trips.

As a younger man, he was a volunteer firefighter for Towamencin and Hatfield Fire Companies. In addition to his wife Diane and his father Harry, he is survived by three sons: Eric and his wife Jill, Jesse and his wife Kelsey, and Seth. Dennis had one grandson, Clayton.

His surviving siblings include David Woelkers and wife Erline, Diane (Woelkers) Rhodes, and Dwight Woelkers and his wife Emily, as well as many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, February 9, 12:00 pm at Bethel Baptist Church, 754 E. Rockhill Road, Sellersville, PA 18960. Visitation will take place from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.

A private burial will take place on Monday at Limerick Garden of Memories for immediate family. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Bethel Baptist Church or to Upper Bucks Christian School. Both are located at 754 E. Rockhill Road, Sellersville, PA 18960.
