Dennis Wayne Vice peacefully left this world on March 3, 2019, at Wellington Parc in Owensboro, KY. He was born November 23, 1945 to the late Virgil and Anita Florence Cook Vice in Burlington, KY. Dennis was a 1964 graduate of Boone County High School and a 1967 graduate of Kentucky Southern College in Louisville, KY.

He served in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1975, attaining the rank of Captain. He was a dairy farmer in Ohio County for 6 years and retired from United States Postal Service in 2003. Dennis was a member of Bethabara Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his sister, Beth Vice Carpenter; his brother, John Mark Vice; and his grandson, Jared Lee Hamilton. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carol Tichenor Vice; daughters, Liessell (Greg) Hamilton of Knottsville and Kari (Dennis) Keith of Beaver Dam; grandchildren, Emily & Wesley Hamilton and Katherine, Lauren & Erin Keith; brothers, Paul (Allison Ewart) Vice of Louisville and Glenn (Gwen) Vice of Hebron; sister-in-law, Myra June Vice of Hendersonville, NC; mother-in-law, Delores Tichenor of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00am until 1:00pm at the funeral home. We are thankful for the love and care given to Dennis and our family by the staff at Wellington Parc, also the care and support of Hospice of Western Kentucky and the VA Clinic of Owensboro.
