Obituary for Dexter Earl Cochran Dexter Earl Cochran,79, of White Deer, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 30, 2019 in White Deer. He entered this life on October 23, 1939 in Memphis, Texas to Lester and Opal Cochran. Dexter lived in White Deer for the past twenty-four years and was a farmer, mechanic, welder and worked for Carson County as a Heavy Equipment Operator.

He married the love of his life, Betty June Golden on August 28, 1958 in Kress, Texas and spent sixty wonderful years together. Dexter was an amazing father who took pride in his big family. He loved spending time with the kids and grandkids by attending their sporting events, extracurricular activities and taking them boating and skiing.

Many cherished memories and laughs were had at family gatherings and cookouts. Dexter’s favorite hobby of all time was drag racing. His big heart and shining personality will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ted Cochran, Danny Cochran; daughter, Deborah Gail Cochran Brame and granddaughter, Bailey Brame. Those left behind to cherish a lifetime of memories are his wife Betty Cochran of White Deer; son, Rick Cochran of White Deer; two daughters, Melinda Cochran, Terrie Cochran both of Skellytown; three brothers, Mar Cochran and wife Betty, Ed Cochran and wife Patty, Kirby Cochran and wife Rita all of Pampa; three sisters, LaGwenda Walker and husband Gary, Lesa Greer and husband Jene all of Pampa, Carolyn Nelson and husband Van of Nacogdoches; seven grandchildren, Tiffany Willis and husband Steven, Susan Reed and husband Billy, Kim Wise and husband Jimmy, Jacob Brame and wife Brandi, Kori Throckmorton and husband Josh, Josh Cochran, Madison Cochran; twelve great-grandchildren, Rylie, Dawson, Abby, Lanee, Ranci, Gracie, Sawyer, Rowan, Hunter, Ryder, Kadi, Evan and numerous nieces and nephews. Dexter will be available for viewing Sunday, March 31 from 4pm to 8pm and Monday, April 1 from 9am to 8pm with a Gathering of Family and Friends from 6pm to 8pm. Celebration of Life Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at First Baptist Church in White Deer with Brother Alan Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at White Deer Cemetery.
