Obituary for Dolly B. Evans Funeral Services for Dolly B. Evans, age 89 of Hideaway, TX, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, May 7, 2018, at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale, TX with Rev. Rick Ivey officiating. Interment will follow at Mt.

Sylvan Cemetery under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, TX. Dolly passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in Tyler, TX. She was born December 20, 1928 in Lyford, TX to the late Robert Angus and Annabelle (Anderson) Keene.

She was formerly of Corsicana, TX before moving to Hideaway Lake in 1981. Dolly was a member of both the Eastern Star and the First United Methodist Church in Lindale, TX. She was a loving homemaker, loved playing the piano, and was the Activities Director at Colonial Nursing Home in Lindale for many years.

Dolly is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Evans; brothers, Robert Keene Jr. and Floyd William Keene; and 2 sisters, Cavita Kimmel and Lilly Joy Rust. She is survived by sons, Russell Evans and wife, Sandra of Dayton, OH, Douglas N. Evans of Hideaway, TX, and Dennis Evans of Hideaway, TX; sister, Daisy Mae Brown of Monte Alto, TX; grandchildren, Kelli Wells of Los Angeles, CA, Jennifer White of Huber Heights, OH, Shaun Evans of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Ryan Evans of Columbus, OH, Angelia Borninkof of Splendora, TX, Brenda Norwood of Splendora, TX, and Bobbie Jo Dentis of Tulsa, OK; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, TX.
