Doris’ Obituary Doris Ellen Steitler, age 77, of Texarkana, TX, died Saturday, February 16, 2019 in a local hospital. She was born in DeKalb on August 15, 1941 to Ode and Gertrude Duncan Caddenhead. She attended school in DeKalb and was a housewife.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Billy D. Steitler, brother, William Carl Caddenhead, sisters, Dorthy Jean Mitchell, Margaret Rickman, Bonie Sue Daffern and a granddaughter, Myranda Perez. She is survived by one daughter, Tina Perez of Dallas, one son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Rhonda Surratt, of Texarkana, AR; grandchildren, Moneika Perez, Marina Perez, Amanda Biddle, Nathan Biddle, Melody Drayton; one brother, Earl Wayne Caddenhead, three sisters, Bernice Porier, Vanita Singleton, Jo Murl Moore and numerous other friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 23rd at 4 p.m. in the chapel for a life celebration.

Cremation arrangements are under the care of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
