Dorothy Ann Osterberg, 86, died in her Aurora farmhouse where she had lived since she was two years old. She went to her Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, January 31, 2019. Dorothy was born on October 19, 1932, the only child of Joseph and Ida (Wahlstrom) Ringblom.

She was a 1950 graduate of Kingsford High School, then attended business school in Milwaukee, WI. She was the office manager for a welding supply company in Iron Mountain for several years. On May 19, 1953, Dorothy married Kenneth Osterberg.

They made their living working side-by-side on Dorothy’s family farm. They were dairy farmers and also kept 1000 hens for a local egg route for 25 years. Ken and Dorothy retired from dairy farming in 2011.

Dorothy was a member of the Aurora Free Church and the Gideons Auxiliary. Dorothy is survived by three daughters, Illene (John) Zoppetti, Linda (Warren) Vogel and Nancy (John Roberts) Osterberg; grandchildren, Daniel (Ashley) Zoppetti and Katie (Tim) Dahlman; great grandchildren Madelyn Zoppetti and twins Azalea and Juniper Dahlman. Further survived by beloved sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Ken on March 12, 2018. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, February 9th at the Aurora Free Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the church.

Reverend Karl Utzat will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Aurora Free Church or to the Gideons International. Condolences may be expressed to the family of Dorothy Osterberg online at www.
