Dorothy’s Obituary Dorothy J. Myers, 92, of Dillsburg, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg, PA. She was born November 15, 1926, in Carroll Township, York County, PA the daughter of the late Elmer and Carrie (Bollinger) Peterman. Dorothy was the widow of Lynn A. Myers, Jr

She was retired from the Book of the Month Club and was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Church of God. Dorothy is survived by seven sons: James E. Myers (Chris) of Colonial Heights, VA; Ronald L. Myers (Mary) of Wenksville; David L. Myers (Pat) of Carlisle; Lynn A. Myers, III (Kathi) of DuBois; William E. Myers (Darlene) of Dillsburg; John R. Myers (Jennifer) of Fairview, WV; Thomas A. Myers (Ann) of Lewisberry; two sisters: Judith E. James of Knox; Anne M. Myers of Glenside; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased, in addition to her husband, by a daughter, Kathy L. Pellatero; her siblings, Jacob Peterman, Ethyl Myers, and Ruth Baptisty. Services will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at 2:00 pm in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. Burial will be held in the Mt.

Pleasant Cemetery. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc.
