Saihiro’s Obituary Saihiro Ito, 70, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at his home. He was born March 31, 1948, in Hirosaki, Japan the son of the late Saiichiro and Kisa (Kimura) Ito. Saihiro is survived by two sisters, Lisa Ledger of Camp Hill and Katsuko Hasegawa of Tokyo, Japan; one brother, Saiaki Ito of Hawaii; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Tommy Ito, one sister, Akemi Funaya and one brother, Saimi Ito. Saihiro was a retired Chef, having worked at Benihana’s in Harrisburg. He was a member of the South Mountain V.F.W., Post #6771, Dillsburg.

Saihiro enjoyed the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Yankees, and Golf. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, February 26th, 2019, at 12:00 noon in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A visitation will be held Tuesday one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Assoc. , 1200 Hosford St., Ste. 101, Hudson, WI 54016.
