John’s Obituary John J. Kauffman, 48, of Dillsburg, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at York Hospital as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born August 16, 1970, in Camp Hill, the son of Dennis L. Kauffman, Sr. and Sara A. (McDade) Kauffman of Mechanicsburg. John was a mechanic by trade and worked for Yard Truck Specialists, York and was a member of the Second Brigade Motorcycle Club.

John is survived in addition to his parents by his wife, Rebecca A. (Hale) Kauffman of Dillsburg; one daughter, Heaven Leigh Goudy of Dillsburg; one son, Zachary R. Kauffman of Dillsburg; two brothers, Dennis L. Kauffman, Jr. of Harrisburg, Bradley A. Kauffman of Millsboro, DE; two sisters, Lisa A. Carroll of Mechanicsburg, Melanie K. Gogets of Enola; and one granddaughter, Brynlee Goudy. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019, at 2:00 pm in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N. 3rd.
