Beverly’s Obituary Beverly Jane Gochenauer, age 67, of York Springs, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at her home. She was born August 1, 1951, in Carlisle the daughter of the late David and Elizabeth (Chubb) Lerew. Beverly is survived by her husband of 47 years, Terry A. Gochenauer; one son, Thomas A. Gochenauer of York Springs; one daughter, Angela J. Anderson (Gerry) of Lynchburg, VA; one granddaughter, Sarah Anderson of Lynchburg, VA; one brother, Larry Lerew of Dillsburg; one sister, Barbara Pieske of Ann Arbor, MI.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Edward and Sarah Chubb and paternal grandparents, Frank and Zula Lerew. Beverly worked at various places in her career, starting at K-mart, Harrisburg National Bank, Kenny Shoe, John Zepp’s Magistrates Office, and she finished up her career at the Navy Depot working in the Human Re and Military Health Benefit Departments. As an artist and business women , Beverly operated Bev’s Doll Cloths for 41 years.

She enjoyed traveling, which included going to the beach, and she never missed an opportunity to spend time with family and friends. She was a member of Barrens United Lutheran Church, Dillsburg and the Bermudian Jaycees, where she acted as a former treasurer. Services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019, at 11:00 am in the Barrens United Lutheran Church, 232 Kralltown Rd.

, Dillsburg. Burial will follow in the Barrens Salem Union Cemetery, Dillsburg. A viewing will be held Saturday from 10-11 am at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Helen O. Krause Animal Foundation, P.O. Box 311, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
