Marilyn’s Obituary Marilyn J Hartman, born December 14, 1942 in York, York County, PA passed away peacefully at home February 4, 2019. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and caring friend. She was the wife of the late John H. Hartman, who passed away on February 26, 2000, he was a loving husband,caring family man and truck driver and well loved.

Together John and Marilyn had 3 daughters and a son. Daughter Deborah Myers (husband John Myers) granddaughter Jessica Miller and great grandson Dakota Rote, granddaughter Jenna Schwartz. Son Brian Hartman, granddaughter April Mammoto (husband Andrew Mammoto) great granddaughter Athena Mammoto, grandson Corey Hartman.

Daughter Tammy Wagner and grandson Ethan Wagner (wife Alyssa Wagner). Daughter Michelle Osborn (husband Chris Osborn), grandson Joseph Feight, granddaughter Kayla Feight, grandson Jared Feight and great grandchildren Keleah and Jonathan Feight. Marilyn was a generous woman who was involved in serving others in many charities.

She volunteered at New Hope Ministries, for over 20 years, a Sunday school teacher for over 30 plus years, volunteered at the Ronald McDonald house and Family Clothing Tree. She was employed at the Capital Area Intermediate Unit for 29 years before retiring this January. She couldn’t stay inactive so she worked at PPL as a caregiver until death.

Marilyn loved the Hershey Bears for over 45 years and also was a season ticket holder all that time. She also loved family time especially at the holiday time, beach trips, Christmas and all the gift wrapping and decorating that went with it. Marilyn also loved her canine “babies” Borquie and Waggers.

She was also an active member of 2 Red Hat societies for 18 years. Marilyn was a member of the New Creation Community Church where she volunteered in many ministries within the church . She loved arts and crafts in her spare time.

Marilyn was a graduate of York Central High School in 1960. There will be a memorial service at New Creation Community Church in April 2019, details to follow. A private immediate family only service will be February 6, 2019 at the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., Dillsburg.
