Ruth’s Obituary Ruth P. Hoffman, 71, of Dillsburg, passed away Monday, February 25, 2019, at the Hospice of Central Pennsylvania Carolyn’s House, Harrisburg. She was born February 13, 1948, in Honey Grove, PA the daughter of the late Clayton J. and Luetta (Yocum) Hoffman. Ruth worked as a route supervisor and cafeteria manager for CVC and later served in multiple roles with JDK catering.

She enjoyed touring the east coast visiting lighthouses. Ruth also enjoyed auto racing, both sprint and NASCAR, and following her favorite NFL team the Minnesota Vikings. Ruth is survived by her brother, Daniel A. Hoffman and his wife Gayle, who was commonly referred to as Ruth’s sister, of Dillsburg; a sister in law, Judy Hoffman of Florida; four nieces, Hayley, Holli, Heidi (Josh) and Jenny (Chris).

Ruth was preceded in death by a brother, Louden C. Hoffman. Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
