Obituary for Eddie Dean Hodge Jr. Eddie Dean Hodge, Jr., 34, of Spencer, Virginia, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 at his home. He was born August 28, 1983, in Martinsville, Virginia, to Eddie and Shirley Wilmouth Hodge. He loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by a brother, John Hodge. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hodge is survived by his wife, Danielle Rakes Hodge; sisters, Michelle Patterson, Wendy Hodge, and Heather Ward (Daniel); several nieces and nephews, Brittany Patterson, Caswell Folk, Briar Ward, Ryan Ward, Michael Snead, Jordan Belcher, and Peyton Belcher. The funeral will be Monday, May 28, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Mayo Christian Church, with Minister Curt Ashley officiating.

Burial will follow at Mayo Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
