Obituary for Sean Demetrius Goddard Jr. Sean Demetrius Goddard, Jr., 20, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born June 15, 1997, in Martinsville, to Sean Demetrius Goddard, Sr., and Melissa Kay Massey. He enjoyed rapping, singing, and spending time with his friends and family.

Sean was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal great-grandparents. In addition to his mother and father, Sean is survived by his step-father, Marcus Chism; four sisters, Ronisha and Shateria Massey of Martinsville, Courtney Mills and Shanice Jordan of Danville, Virginia; step-sister, Aniyah Davis; brother, Shamon Massey of Martinsville; godmother, Charlene Martin of Martinsville; godsisters, Shirleka, Zerita, Andrea, and Curkesha Martin of Martinsville and Wendy Lagler; godbrother, Jamus Martin (Charity); paternal grandparents, Gertrude and Rayfield Motley of Danville, Virginia; maternal grandparents, Mary and Namon Craig of Martinsville, Virginia and Jerry Jones of Axton, Virginia. The funeral will be Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Galilean House of Worship at 1:00 PM.

The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at Fair Haven Memorial Park. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
