Burial will follow in Post Cemetery, Fort Sill. Edeltraud Bolton was born December 6, 1937 in Augsburg, Germany to Joseph and Karolina Holdenried.

She died Thursday, May 30, 2019 at her residence in Lawton at the age of 81. She grew up in Germany where she completed her education. She married MSG (Retired) Charles E. Bolton on June 6, 1955 in Augsburg, Germany.

He preceded her in death on July 5, 2007. She enjoyed sewing and loved her dogs. She is survived by two sons, and daughters-in-law, Michael E. and Barbara Bolton, Hurst, Texas and Randall W. and Stephanie Bolton, Duncan, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren, Natasha, Christopher, Eric, Stephanie, Bethany, Justin, Adam, Autumn, Austin, Sydney, Abigail and Sullivan; 21 great grandchildren; and her sister, Irmgard Bals, Augsburg, Germany.

Her parents, a son, Charles E. Bolton, three sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
