Obituary for Edwina LeBlanc Falcon Obituary for Edwina LeBlanc Falcon Edwina LeBlanc Falcon, 91, a resident of Plattenville, La passed away on September 26, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born on Aug. 4, 1927 in Garyville, La.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 at Assumption Catholic Church, Plattenville, La. , from 8:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.

The burial will follow in church cemetery. She is a retired employee of the Assumption Parish School Board with 20 years of service. She also worked many school functions such as, Athletic and FFA banquets.

She also worked as a cook at the Dairy Inn with Mrs. Barbara Simoneaux and during the summer at the Plattenville Community Softball Park. She loved helping others and being around people. She will be sorely missed by many!

She is survived by her sons, Eric, Jr (Brenda), Donald (Paulette), Lonnie (Tammy), and Richard Falcon; daughters, Olinda Rivere (Russell) , and Judy Weber (Randy) ; 15 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. Also survived by a brother, Harry LeBlanc; and a sister, Doris Stein. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eric Falcon, Sr.; parents, Philip, Sr.; mother, Neomie Garcia LeBlanc; four brothers, Philip LeBlanc, Jr., Edwin LeBlanc, Edward LeBlanc, Searcy LeBlanc; and two sisters, Lydia Barbier, and Emilee Crochet.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt appreciation to Assumption Health and Rehab, all the staff personnel who gave her the best of care anyone can have, Tara Rivere Aysen, granddaughter, who gave unselfishly her time in helping the family cope with her everyday needs. a special thank you to Assumption Community Hospital staff for the kindness shown to our family! Thank you Drs.

Gravois, Landry and Bolotte for seeing to her medical needs. She received the best of care. —– Thank You All!
