Eleanor Catherine Bell, 94, of New Haven, MO, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri. Eleanor was born in Caledonia, Missouri on July 7, 1923, a daughter of the late Joseph & Elizabeth (Miller) Hockinghomer. She was the widow of Robert Morris Bell.

They were married on May 5, 1950 at Second Presbyterian Church, St. Louis. Robert preceded her in death on September 10, 2003. Eleanor was a long time member of the Second Presbyterian Church, St. Louis.

She worked for Washington University for 25 years as an accountant. Eleanor is survived by a son Stuart Bell & wife Vivian, of St. Louis; a daughter Barbara Borcherding & husband James, of Hermann, Missouri; by two grandchildren, Shannon Sandefer & husband Pete and Eric Borcherding & wife Jessie and by two great grandchildren, Harlan & Dagan Bell. Memorial services will be held Friday, May 11th at 6:00 p.m. at Second Presbyterian Church, St. Louis, Missouri,.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. Memorials may be given to Mary Ridder Home or Second Presbyterian Church Building Fund or Second Presbyterian Church Good Ground Store.
