Elias “Louie” Ayoob, 90, of Center Twp. , passed away Friday April 13, 2018, in Franciscan Manor. Born October 27, 1927, in Aliquippa, he was a son of the late Joseph Corey and Jennie (Beshero) Ayoob.

Mr. Ayoob was a retired employee of the 911th Airlift Base in Moon Twp. , with 28 years of service. A U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War, he was a member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Maronite Catholic Mission, St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Center Twp.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Josephine Ayoob , on December 2, 2017; a son Elias Ayoob; grandson, Gabriel Urban, and two sisters, Rosella Costanza, and Anita Gidwani. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Corey and Dima Ayoob; a daughter and son-in-law, Jeannette and Richard Urban; a beloved grandson, Michael Urban; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Ann and Raymond Martichek, and Christine and Eric Schott, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Monday from 4pm to 8pm in Tatalovich Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, PA. , 15001, where a service will be held Tuesday at 12:30pm, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1pm in St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Center Twp. , with Fr.

Martin Bartel and Fr. Antoine, concelebrating. Interment will follow at 2:30pm in Mt.

Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Twp. , where the Beaver County Special Unit will conduct military honors. A parish vigil service will be held Monday at 3:45pm in the funeral home.

Franciscan wake service will be held Monday at 7:15pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Theresa of Calcutta Maronite Catholic Mission, or St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
