Elizabeth Butler Kreiser, 79, peacefully passed away at her home May 15, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30AM Friday May 18, 2018 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Thomas P. Norris, O.S.F.S. officiating.

Inurnment will be at a later date in the Mt. Gur Cemetery. A native of Carolina Beach, NC, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Mary Winner and Cleve Felix Butler.

Elizabeth worked at Belks in Winston-Salem and later retired from the former Sears Catalog Center in Greensboro. Survivors include her loving husband of almost 62 years, Merlin Charles Kreiser, Sr. of the home; daughter Sharon Kreiser Long of Winston-Salem; sons Merlin Charles Kreiser, Jr. and Claire Giffin of Winston-Salem, and Philip Kreiser and Monica Harris of Schertz, Texas; grandchildren Jonathan Kreiser, Jordan Kreiser, Maeghan Harris, and Madison Harris; sisters Pam Bohanan and Bo, Elaine Shambley and Maurice, and Janet Butler; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:45AM Friday morning at the church and following the service in Salesian Hall at the church.
