Elsa’s Obituary Elsa Marie Guzman, 43 of Modesto passed away Thursday, January 10th at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto surrounded by loved ones. She was raised in Patterson and was a resident of Modesto for over 20 years. Elsa was well known for her big personality, infectious laugh and beautiful smile which always brought people together.

She loved Marilyn Monroe and all things fabulous! Most of all she loved her kids and did an amazing job raising them. Elsa may have left us earlier than expected but her wild spirit lives on in her friends and family.

Heaven got a little louder and rowdier with her arrival. Elsa leaves behind a very dysfunctional family that she was very proud of. She is survived by her parents, Jose and Iris Ruiz of Patterson; John and Brenda Medina of Westley; son, Julian Morales of Ceres; daughter, Janessa Guzman of Ceres; brothers, John P. Medina of Patterson and Daeniznoray Luviano of Westley; sisters, Tisha Drummond, Jennifer Ruiz both of Patterson, Sheila Medina and Diana Medina both of Westley.

She was preceded in death by her son, Marcus Lorenzo Guzman. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, January 24th at United Pentecostal Church, 339 Sperry Avenue, Patterson, followed immediately by a Funeral Service. Services conducted by Hillview Funeral Chapel, Patterson.
