Funeral service for Elsie Aileen Dutton Sims, 88, will be Friday, May 17, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bo Sims officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, May 17, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Mrs. Sims died on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born April 19, 1931, in Lawrence County to James Wert Dutton and Sarah Elsie Tyler Dutton.

She was a homemaker and a caregiver who genuinely cared about her family and others. She was a member of Cross Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her husband: William Sims, her parents, and a son: Kenneth Sims.

Survivors include: Five Brothers: Kennard Dutton, William Dutton (Dixie), Wilford Dutton (Barbara), Clifford Dutton (Wanda), and Ray Dutton (Diane), all of Moulton, AL Four Sisters: Racine Harville, Ann Blankenship, and Glenda Nix (Glennis), all of Moulton, AL and Shirley Thompson, Decatur, AL Three Grandchildren Nine Great Grandchildren and Four Great Great Grandchildren Peck Funeral Home 1600 Hwy 31 SW P.O.
