Emilia D. (Correia) Pedroso, 79, of Warwick, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019, peacefully in her sleep at home. She was the beloved wife of Elias P. Pedroso. Born April 24, 1939, in Cedros, Faial, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Domingos and Ana (Felipe) Correia.

Emilia was a woman of great faith with a special devotion to Saint Anthony and Our Lady of Fatima. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking, sewing, crocheting, country music, holidays (especially Christmas), celebrating her birthday, and spending time with family and friends. In her younger years, she and her husband enjoyed dancing and singing together.

Their travels took them to Disney World, Portugal, Brazil, and Canada. Emilia’s warmth and kind spirit will be missed by family and friends. Emilia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Besides her husband of 62 years, she leaves her 3 children, Natalia Pedroso Sam and her husband Anthony, Linda Pedroso Cullen, and Elias F. Pedroso and his wife Kerry; 8 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Allison, Cameron, Jeremy, Matthew, Keara, Kaleigh, and Kyla; 2 great grandchildren, Zennia and Lucas; and a sister Maria Pereira. She was the sister of the late Domingos D. Correia and Manuel Correia. Her funeral will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 8:45 a.m. from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse St., Providence.

Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
