Norman E. Lajoie, 71, of Fieldwood Ave. , Seekonk, passed away, Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019 at RI Hospital.

He was the husband of Suzanne Carroll Lajoie. Born Sept. 15, 1947, in Central Falls, RI, he was the son of the late Norman and Marie (Provencal) Lajoie.

Norman loved warm weather, sunshine, golf and making people smile. He was a member and Hall of Fame inductee of the Attleboro Area Golf Association. In addition to his wife he leaves his children, Lisa (Joseph) Bouchard, Lane (Sandra) Lajoie and their mother Linda Fernandes, Nicholas (Sarah) Lajoie and his mother Sally Lajoie, Bethany (Thomas) Carroll Gill and Alison (Joseph) Carroll Lewis; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Christopher, Hayden, Ryan, Michael, Aidan, Connor, Gabrielle, Jonah, Maxwell and Jacob.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, Jan. 25, at 10am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Taunton Ave.

, Seekonk. Burial will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Attleboro Area Golf Assoc. , PO Box 895, Attleboro, MA 02703, to benefit the junior golf program are greatly appreciated. All donations are tax deductible.
