McKuhn, 90, of Corry, Pa. , passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019 at her son’s home. She was born July 10, 1928 to Lillian Woodering Bates and Cecil Bates at Whitesville, N.Y. In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by three brothers, James Floyd Bates, Robert Cecil Bates and Bill Bates.

Evelyn worked many years for G. C. Murphys, both downtown Corry and the Route 6 plaza and then worked for twelve years at the Corry Manor. She is survived by her son, Mike McKuhn of Corry, Pa. ; one brother, Duane K. Bates of Denver, Co., and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Services for Evelyn will be held privately by her family. Arrangements are under the care of the Bracken Funeral Home, Inc., 315 N. Center St., Corry, Pa. To sign the guest book or send condolences, please visit www.
