Evidine Laslie Basham, age 93 of Hardinsburg, KY died Friday, May 18, 2018 at Breckinridge Memorial Nursing Facility. She was born in Westview, KY on March 13, 1925, the daughter of the late Richard and Cova Wilson Laslie. Evidine was a faithful member of Westview United Methodist Church, where she was very involved with church activities.

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed visiting with them. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Basham, brothers – Morris and Mallow Laslie, nieces and nephews – Colleen Thornton, Shelby Jean Lawrence, Donnie and Carroll Hardin “PeeWee” Laslie.

Evidine is survived by her son – Richie Basham and his wife Denise of Virginia Beach, VA daughter – Vendetta Pile and her husband Barry of Hardinsburg, KY 5 grandchildren: Brian Basham, Brandon Basham (Kellie), Becky Pruitt (Jonathan), Rachel Wheatley and Adam Pile (Jackie) 10 great grandchildren: Hallie, Josh, Richard, Alex, Justin, Travis, Addison, Bethany, Erika and Joseph 2 great great grandchildren: Bentley and Bristol Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 11 AM. Burial will be in the Kingswood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 3:30 – 8 PM and Thursday after 8 AM.

Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Westview United Methodist Church.
