Evie Frances Robertson Bray, 70, of Axton, VA passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018. She was born on December 8, 1947 to the late John Luther Robertson and Judy Powell Robertson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Bray, Sr.; sisters, Barbara Robertson Norton and Annie Robertson Wells; and a nephew, Johnathan Lane Norton.

She… Read More » is survived by her son, James Robert “Jimmy” Bray, Jr. and wife Connie Hudson Bray of Spencer, VA; grandchildren, Tyler James Bray and Emily Anne Bray; and a niece, Melissa Wells of Mocksville, NC. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel with Reverend Ed Hartman officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel and other times at the home of Mrs. Bray’s son, Jimmy Bray, at 573 Evergreen Drive, Spencer, VA 24165. Burial will be at Roselawn Burial Park. Norris Funeral Services, Inc. and Crematory of Martinsville, VA is serving the Bray family.
