Obituary for Fannie Bell Ledford Fannie Bell Ledford, 91 of Marietta passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 27th at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home, Historic Marietta Chapel. Interment will follow at 4:00 p.m. in Bethel Cemetery in Hayesville, North Carolina.

Mrs. Ledford was born January 18, 1927 and grew up in Hayesville, North Carolina. She married John O. Ledford in 1945 and then moved to Marietta in 1951. She worked at Nuway Laundry on Page Street and then 18 years as an inspector at Tip Top Poultry before she retired from medical issues.

Mrs. Ledford was survived by her daughters, Martha Scoggins of Marietta, Kathy Ledford of Jasper, Susie Bearden of Jasper; sons, Dillard Ledford of Marietta, George Ledford of Acworth, Johnny Ledford of Miami, Clayton Ledford of Woodstock; 18 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by her husband, John O. Ledford and sons, Bobby Ledford and Max Ledford. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26th at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home.
