Gajendra Das worked as a bank manager at the State Bank of India across various cities in South India for 34 years. He was an avid musician: he loved to sing and could play any instrument.

He loved animals, people, inventing things, and he especially loved his family. Gajendra Das is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Bell of Chennai, India; daughter Shiny Das of Acworth; and two grandchildren: Colin and Melinda Selvaraj. Mayes Ward-Dobbins Macland Chapel is presiding over the arrangements.
