Floyd Allen Maltba, age 81 of Laurel Springs died Wednesday morning at his home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. Mr. Maltba is survived by: 2 daughters – Rebecca Rhodes of Roaring River and Debra Brown of Traphill 4 sons – Gary Maltba and Darrell Maltba, both of Laurel Springs, Johnny Maltba of Crumpler, and Tony Maltba of Creston 2 brothers – Dan Maltba of Sanford and Glenn Maltba of Taylorsville 2 sisters – Linda Lovett and Jackie Brown, both of Wilkesboro Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
