Fredrick Oscar Pifer Of Eaton Rapids, MI passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the age of 75. Fred was born on January 30, 1943 in St. Johns, MI the son of Walter and Lillian (Brunner) Pifer. He was a graduate of Marion High School class of 1961.

Fred proudly in the US Army from 1963 to 1966 stationed in Germany. He enjoyed sports and while in the service he played softball for US Army. Fred lived and worked in Florida from 1980 until 1994 before returning home to Michigan. He married his current wife Minnie (Campbell) Pifer in 1998 and together they resided in Eaton Rapids. Fred was an avid Michigan states sports fan and enjoyed football, basketball and baseball.

Fred is survived by his wife, Minnie Pifer; mother, Lillian Pifer; sister, Judy (Howard) Colberg; step-children, Jim Lee, Rhonda (Brian) Kozumplik; grandchildren, Mathew Lee, Desiree Lee, Kevyn (Katie Schneider) Kozumplik, Cameron Kozumplik. Preceding Fred in death are his father, brother, Dan Pifer, daughter-in-law, Sonja Lee and grandson, Robert Lee. No services will be held for Fred, to share memories or condolences please visit www.
