Gary C. Perigo 02/09/1945-08/29/2018 Gary C. Perigo, 73, of Riverdale, Utah, died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. After his vigilant fight and a three-day going away party in McKay Dee Hospital, he surrendered to a merciless bone marrow disorder called MDS. He graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1963 and after four years of courtship, married his high school sweetheart, Sharlene Peay.

He received his Bachelor’s Degree from BYU and participated in the marching band as a trumpet player. Gary went on to study business and earn a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University. He worked for years as an engineer, computer science manager, and also had his own property management company.

Gary served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force for several years. He also lived in Mississippi, California, Germany, Nevada and Saudi Arabia. He traveled the world, collecting lifelong friends everywhere he went.

Gary’s greatest joys were his wife, children, and his grandchildren. He had a strong testimony of his Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. He was an Eagle Scout and an avid outdoorsman.

He had a zest for life and loved motorcycling, jeeping, snowmobiling, and especially playing his Lowrey organ. Over the years he was an active member of square dance, jeep, snowmobile, and motorhome travel clubs. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Sharlene, of 52 years; his children, Marcene Leckington, Cordell (Tammy) Perigo, Shauntelle (John) Anderson, and Cameron (Kendra) Perigo; and 14 beautiful grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd E. Perigo, Jr. and Alyce Zupan Perigo; and his sister, Nancy Perigo. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Lindquist’s Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd, Ogden; interment at the Spanish Fork Cemetery, 3:30 p.m. Family and friends are invited to visit with the family, Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
