Ruth Ann Morrow Doncouse January 23, 1944 ~ October 27, 2018 Ruth Ann Morrow Doncouse passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 27, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born the 4th out of 6 children to Robert and Nellie Morrow on January 23, 1944 in Norwalk, Ohio. Ruth graduated from East Bay High School in 1962 and from Valdez hair design school in 1964.

She worked as a cosmetologist for several years and continued to cut hair as a hobby until her passing. Ruth continued her education at the Career Training Institute in Tampa, Florida, graduating with her certificate in IBM key punch and programming in 1965. Ruth married the love of her life Martin W. Doncouse on December 20, 1968, and became a mother to his five children.

They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on March 24, 1970. The family moved to Utah in 1970 where she worked for the Weber County School District for 27 years. Ruth was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served tirelessly in many callings.

She loved her Savior and had a strong testimony of His eternal plan. She was a woman of many talents, and if she didn’t know how to do something she would read and study it out. She was a lifelong learner.

Her hobbies included gardening, sewing, quilting (including quilts for each child, grandchildren, and great-grandchild) genealogy, canning, cooking, and baking. She served on the Board of HOA, and worked closely with her friends in Winter Haven, Washington, Utah. She loved her family above all else, and made sure each child, grandchild, and great-grandchild knew they were loved.

She was the strength, the peace, and the shoulder to cry on. She was always ready with encouraging words. She was our example of unconditional love and optimism.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert Morrow and Dale Morrow; daughter, Deborah Doncouse. She is survived by her sisters, Louise Morrow, Nancy Murphy, and Betty Morrow. She is also survived by her husband of 50 years; her children, Martin David (Karen) Doncouse, Theresa Elizabeth Simpson, Russel Tracey (Laurita) Doncouse, and Martin Patrick (Estella) Doncouse; as well as 17 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
