Obituary for Gary Wayne Campbell Gary Wayne Campbell, age 35, passed away Friday evening after a brave fight with ALD. Gary loved working with his hands and was an avid carpenter. He had his own construction business until April 2016.

He was a creative problem-solver who often took on the unwanted jobs and made them look easy to do. He was also an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding dirt roads in his spare time. He was born October 13, 1982 in Lake Charles, LA to Marlin and Brenda Campbell.

On April 20, 2002 he married Kristy Pearson. On July 3, 2003 and April 15, 2006 respectively he welcomed his two handsome boys who loved and cared for him until he passed. Gary was preceded in death by grandparents JL Campbell and Pauline Williams.

He is survived by his wife Kristy Campbell, and sons Layne and Logan of Laurel, MS. Parents Marlin and Brenda Campbell of Macon, MS. Grandparents Geraldine Campbell Millport, AL and Virgil Williams of Teneha, TX.

Four sisters: Tanya (Doug) Blackledge of Laurel, MS, Tabatha Lott of Macon, MS, Angela Campbell of Hattiesburg, MS, Alisha (Bradley) Zismann of Macon, MS. 10 nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Dylan Blackledge, Drake Blackledge, Brandon Clark, Darrell Estes, Bradley Zismann, Terry Grasseree, Michael Webb and Jesse Walters.

Funeral services will held Tuesday May 29,2018, at East Laurel Pentecostal Jesus Name Church. Visitation for the family will begin at 9:30. Visitation for public at 10:00.

Funeral to start at 11:00. There will be a graveside service held at Payne’s Chapel Cemetery in Millport, Alabama at 4:00. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
