Obituary for Jonathan Lee Gordon Jonathan Lee Gordon, 55, of Laurel, MS passed away on May 8, 2018. Jonathan was known by many as John-Boyor Johnny. Johnny was born August 21, 1962 in Laurel, MS and he lived in Laurel his entire life.

Johnny was loved by all who knew him. He was the true definition of a family man and a hard worker. Visitation will be held at Memory Chapel on Friday, May 11th from 5 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at Bethlehem Baptist Church on Saturday at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at the church cemetery.

Services will be officiated by Rev. Charles Gordon and Dr. Cary Kimbrell. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Randolf Gordon and Ruthie Brady Gordon. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Welborn Gordon and their four children, Jeremy Gentry and wife, Pamela, Amy Gordon Heatchock and husband, Jerry, Adrian Gordon Cotton and husband, Aaron, and Benjamin Gordon all of Laurel. He is survived by siblings, Randy Gordon and wife, Cindy of Mt.

Olive, Virginia Johnson of Richton, and Stephanie Gordon of Laurel. Johnny is also survived by grandchildren, Abigail, Rebecca, Madilyn, Madden, Brooklyn, Denym, Joshua, and Ryker and by a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Josh Welch, Alec Culbertson, Bob Cranford, Michael Wilkerson, Lonnie Gaddis, and David Herndon.
