Obituary for Aline Butler Knight Aline Butler Knight, age 93, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, May 2, 2018 after a lengthy illness. She was born February 27, 1925 in Jones County to Lee and Elvira Butler. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hiram W. Knight; brothers, Grady Butler and Berlin Butler; and sisters, Pauline Windham and Willie Mae Matthews.

She is survived by one daughter, Wanda Snead and husband, Jack (Greenwood, LA); one son, Richard Michael Knight (Soso, MS); one brother, Glen Butler (Covington, LA); grandsons, John R. Snead, Brandon Ryan Snead, Johnathan Knight, Kasey Knight; and granddaughter, Christina Sandifer; two great granddaughters; and five great great grandchildren. She attended Centerville Baptist Church. Mother spent the last two years of her life at Magnolia Gardens Nursing Home in Ellisville, MS due to Alzheimer’s.

Special thanks to the staff at South Central Regional Medical Center, Magnolia Gardens Nursing Home, and Compassus Hospice for the loving care they gave her. Also, a special thanks to Carol Ann Jerigan and Bobbie Butler for all the things they did for her over the past several years. Visitation will be between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Centerville Baptist Church with graveside services to follow at the church cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Rev.
